Our Team.

We are five sophomores at The University of Texas at Austin in the Liberal Arts Honors Program with a fervent passion for environmentalism, social justice, and education.

Kate Caven

Studying Health and Society with a minor in Business. In her free time, she enjoys going on long walks and hanging out with friends. Her favorite tree is the Wisteria tree.

Audrey Crawford

Studying Sociology with a minor in Professional Sales and Development and a minor in Spanish. She loves volunteering with children in the community spending time in the amazing outdoors of Austin, running or walking around the lake, hiking or spending time at Barton Springs. Her favorite trees are willows.

Colin Crawford

Studying government and history with a business minor within the Liberal Arts Honors program. He plans to attend law school in the future. He loves to thrift and find other ways to contribute to local sustainability. His favorite trees are Southern Live Oaks.

Bethany Roberts

Studying Chinese and English in the Liberal Arts Honors program. She has a passion for the Fine Arts and is an avid environmentalist. When she’s not studying, you can find her hiking or exploring one of Austin’s museums. Her favorite trees are magnolias.

Sophie Velez

Studying philosophy with a certificate in Environmental Change and Sustainability with intent to attend law school. She loves to run, read, and create social media content. Her favorite tree is the Juniper Bonsai.
